The FOSS Path to Digital Sovereignty

We’ve reached a strange point in history where we pay for hardware but don't actually own its behavior. You buy a "smart" device, but its heartbeat lives on a corporate server thousands of miles away. If that company goes bust or changes its Terms of Service, your device becomes a brick. This is the Paradox of Smart Device Ownership.
